In 2016 we, Ian and Andrew, left behind our London home to spend a year of adventure in Andalucia. Little did we know that by 2020 we would have bought and restored a village house, Casa Higueras B&B, in the rural Spanish Village of Moclín.

We think we have found the perfect corner of Andalucia in Moclín and it is here we have made our home.

In 2022 we bought and restored Esperanza 9. Opening in June 2023.

We also write a BLOG about our life here in Spain it is called Two South of Granada Here you can read about the ups and downs of moving to Spain, recipes, and local travel tips such as where to eat and drink in Granada and out favourite tapas bars! Most recently we have written a ten part series about our involvement in the BBC 1 Series Amanada & Alan’s Spanish Job.

Another arm of our business is Property Marketing. Granada Village & Country began in 2020 marketing a few local properties. We are now an established Estate Agency with over 60 properties for sale in Granada Province. Specialising in inland and village houses with special focus on reducing the effects of rural depopulation in places like Moclín.
